I recently acquired a Bessa I. As a teenager back in the days of SuperXX, it was my first real (non-box) camera. Mechanically in great shape...clean lens, smooth shutter, complete with box, IB and format mask. Only usage issue: hazy viewfinder.

Unscrew central wind knob screw. Spindle drops into film compartment. Top plate attached by three screws and nut surrounding shutter release.

Under the hood.

Top plate. Front lens will drop out of its slot when top plate is lifted off. When replacing, lay camera on its back and push lens home and use gravity to keep it there while attaching cover. Make sure it is fully seated.

Spindle. A little trial and error mighht be needed in reattaching knob...note slot in first picture.

Sadly there is a fold anomaly in the bellows. However camera is usable as is. Viewfinder now crystal clear and actually not bad.
